Achim Nothnagel

Achim Nothnagel is a Geman National with more than 48 years of vast experience in Civil Engineering and Infrastructural projects in Europe and in Africa. He obtained his Engineering Studies in Road Construction in Cottbus Potsdam in Germany in 1966. Achim has been involved in several major civil engineering projects comprising of Canalizations of Waterway for irrigation for Agricultural purposes, construction of roads and accesses within local governments, Construction of Motorway from Berlin to Hamburg, and Construction of Pre-cast units for factories all in Germany. Achim is an Airport construction expert, he has been involved in the Construction of 16 Airports in Europe, Asia, and Africa, while 3 of the Airports were constructed in Nigeria.

He was involved in the rehabilitation of Kumasi City Roads in Ghana spanning 120km and the Construction of Korfudia Water Treatment Plant and the rehabilitation of Cocoa Processing Company at Takoradi also in Ghana. He was involved in the rehabilitation of the Airport in Monrovia and Rubbersville in Liberia.

In Nigeria, Achim was the Project Manager for Julius Berger for approximately 14 years and carried out several Roads, Bridges, Rail line,s and Airport projects across the country. He is a member of various professional bodies like COREN.
